Our winter blend, Iridescent, includes coffees from Ethiopia, Kenya, and Latin America. It’s a combination of some of our best, most interesting coffees, and features notes of dark chocolate and berry. Each year, we donate $1 per pound from Iridescent to fund transformative projects in coffee-producing countries through our Seeds fund—a program that awards grants to producer-driven sustainability projects. Because good work, good cheer, and great coffee is more than just a winter theme.
About our Seeds fund:
Throughout the year, we collect a penny per pound from every coffee we sell to fund our Seeds program. Seeds offers financial grants to coffee producers we work with to implement sustainability projects they deem necessary. By directing Iridescent funds into Seeds, we will be able to support more projects and increase the resilience of coffee farmers and their communities. To date, we’ve allocated over $350,000 to Seeds projects.
About the Coffees:
This year’s Iridescent blend includes coffees from Ethiopia, Kenya, and Latin America, and features notes of dark chocolate and berry. The perfect blend to share with your favorite people.
At Counter Culture, we believe that truly great coffee sustains both people and the planet. Our Seeds program is our way of giving back to the people and places that have given us––and you!––such incredible coffee over the years.
